Our client is a highly reputable and market leading business in the construction space based in Melbourne's Western suburb of Braybrook. Our client is seeking a highly skilled individual who enjoys working within a fast paced environment and has previous experience in leading teams within the past.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to:
- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of 2 x Accounts Receivable and Credit Officers
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working with day sales outstanding
- Ability to work closely with outlined debtor's terms
- Reporting on various factors, including teams KPI's
- End of month duties including reporting, billings and cash flow management
- Manage credit risk by driving process improvement
- Management of the day to day operations of collections, allocations, invoicing and reconciliations
- Other adhoc duties
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes, however will not be limited to:
- Has previous experience within a credit team leading role
- Has previous experience within the construction industry is advantageous
- Confidence, desire and ability to take the lead
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Wanting to build and grow their career within the credit space
