An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer to join their team based in CBD, on a permanent basis.
Position Description
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:
- Manage a debtors ledger of national accounts
- Daily reconciliation of the accounts
- Follow up on outstanding debt
- Providing high level of customer support to varying internal and external stakeholders
- Handle and assess credit applications
- Allocation and receipting of payments
- Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit check
- Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
- Reporting duties and ad hoc tasks as required
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer role, as well as the following attributes:
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
