Due to growth of the business, the company is seeking an Credit Officer to join their team on a permanent/full time basis. Position Description 
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Proactively contacting customers to facilitate payment of invoices due
  • Processing daily banking / applying customer payments
  • Shared email inbox management – responding to internal/external queries
  • Reconciliation of debtors' ledgers
  • Identify and research unapplied cash, contacting customers for remittance advices
  • Resolve invoice related customer queries, or escalate to Accounts Receivable Lead
  • Locate and send out invoice copies and proof of delivery
  • Upload invoice data into customer portals
  • Processing customer refund requests
  • Assist with customer data maintenance ensuring contact information is accurate and up to date
  • Assist with month end closing activities
  • Assist with assessments of new and existing customers
  • Other related duties as required to support the Credit Team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven Credit experience within a large scale organisation, as well as the following attributes:
  • Ideally 2+ years experience
  • Strong excel skills - Pivot tables + V look ups
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong customer service mindset and sound influencing and negotiating skills
  • Resilience – in their challenging, high intensity environment, you will need to display composure and patience but bring your sense of humour!
