The role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time permanent role will enable you to become part of a close knit and high performing Finance team. You will be responsible for the collection of overdue accounts via outbound collection calls and providing outstanding service to a loyal and growing customer base. The role will be comprised of: 
  
Duties
  • Managing large number of National + small accounts (approx 1500)
  • Creating new accounts
  • Ascertaining credit viability of customers
  • Outbound Collections
  • Maintaining your own ledger (approx $2m)
  • Credit queries
  • Processing rebates and other credit claims
  • Stop supply
  • Weekly and monthly credit reporting
  • Issuing of account statements
  
The Ideal Candidate 

The successful candidate will have a proven collections ability and maintain a minimum of 5 years in a similar Credit Control position. 
  
Your skills will also include
  • Experience using the ERP system SAGE will be looked upon favorably but is not a non-negotiable 
  • Intermediate excel skills are a MUST. eg (Pivot Tables, V-Look ups)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Resilient 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
