The Company 

A market leading Australian company is currently seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of the accounts receivable and credit function. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external clients, ensuring timely collections, accurate account reconciliations, and effective management of credit risk.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage debt collection and ensure timely payments in line with customer terms.
  • Post and reconcile customer transactions in the ERP system, resolving discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve billing or payment issues promptly.
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports and support management decision-making.
  • Build strong customer relationships and respond to account-related enquiries.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support business objectives.
  • Monitor credit limits and debtor insurance in line with company guidelines.
Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have:
  • Proven experience in Credit/Accounts Receivable 
  • SAP or large ERP system experience is essential
  • Friendly and team player
  • High attention to detail
  • Analytical thinker
