The Organisation
Our client is a rapidly growing national company who boast a reputable culture, with low staff turnover and are a high-performing business. Due to growth of the business, who have a national presence of 40+ years, the company is seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a welcoming and fast-paced environment within a respectable company, based in Melbourne's West of Derrimut.
Position Description
With a view of being a key contact for the Credit function and working alongside two others, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
- Looking after a ledger of 2,000 + accounts
- Following up on outstanding accounts
- Processing invoices and price adjustments
- Account reconciliations
- Daily management of banking
- Receive and resolve customer queries
- Monthly reporting duties
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager, and assist the wider finance team with various duties where required
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in a similar Credit and/or Accounts Receivable role
- The ability to confidently work autonomously and in a close knit finance team
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- The ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
