Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Credit Officer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Head of Credit, the role will include but not be limited to the following duties:
- Managing a portfolio of accounts and a ledger worth approximately $2.5 million (monthly).
- Handling queries from Plan Managers, Internal teams (Care Managers, Fund Administration, Rostering team)
- Generating, editing, and resubmitting invoices as requested by either clients or Plan Managers based on the funding body (NDIS,TAC, 3party etc)
- Managing the end-to-end reconciliation on accounts (accounts reconciliation, credit notes, unallocated payment application to invoices)
- Generating ATB daily and updating clients notes for review with the Head of Credit
- Handling queries from the AR mailbox daily in reference to the assigned portfolio
- Assisting the receipting officer in reconciling payments or requesting for remittances to ensure cash allocation.
- Working and developing customer centric and results focused relationship within the wider team and internal stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a similar Credit Officer role previously
- Prior exposure to working in aged care or health care would be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
