This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Customer Service Officer to join a high-performing Customer Services team. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring every enquiry, whether via phone, email, or CRM is handled efficiently, professionally, and with a customer-first approach. Your role will be crucial in maintaining seamless order processing, supporting internal teams, and delivering a consistently outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for customer enquiries relating to fuel and lubricant orders, delivery ETAs, card requests, account administration, and general information.
- Process payments, including pre-authorisations for credit card COD customers.
- Respond to emails from shared inboxes and maintain accurate customer communications in the CRM system.
- Scan, process, and manage daily driver documentation.
- Support Sales and Operations teams with enquiries, delivery scheduling, and new customer setups.
- Maintain a proactive approach to health and safety in line with company policies.
- Assist with audits, special projects, and cover other team functions when required.
- Previous experience in customer service or a call-centre environment.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple enquiries and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and calm under pressure.
- Experience using CRM systems or SAP is highly desirable.
