About the role:

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a very dynamic and collaborative Customer Service team within Melbourne’s West. The successful candidates core function will be to provide customer service support to the business and play a primary role in ensuring that all customer service and office administrative functions are coordinated to achieve a high level of productivity within the business.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate general office administration duties, answering phones, refer customer enquiries to the correct areas and see that tasks are completed within designated timeframes.

  • Collect, analyse, and summarise customer service claims in a daily log.
  • Check and maintain customer claims are logged accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate the delivery of spare parts efficiently.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders in regards to orders and stock.
  • Analyse standards of sock from both providers and customers.
  • Accurately prepare and distribute paperwork, credit notes and reports.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment and report any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Developing ad hoc operational reporting as requested by senior management.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a similar customer service or operational position is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the furniture industry and relevant processes and practices for business.
  • Experience working in a warehouse/industrial/furniture wholesale environment or similar.
  • Intermediate computer skills and/or working with databases e.g.: Microsoft Office/Outlook, Sales and CRM databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve while thinking quickly on your feet. 
  • Team player that's driven and keen to build strong positive working relationships.
