Liaison between customers, third-party service providers (transport, warehouse, etc.) and the company with respect to customer enquiries on the price, availability and delivery arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Process all customer orders and follow up re-despatch date when necessary
- Issue to Customers and Post into the accounting system all customer invoices and credits in line with KPI requirements.
- Receive and respond to all customer enquiries regarding product availability, pricing and delivery arrangements via email or phone.
- Liaise with Operations and Procurement re: stock availability to ensure order fulfilment.
- Proactively call customers to provide them with freight time frames, build awareness of service charges and freight safety concerns
- Excellent communication skills that build rapport, strengthen relationships and foster mutual trust and respect
- Strong orientation and passion towards customer service and customer satisfaction
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite of Products, Internet Explorer and Outlook
