About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer (Vulnerability Specialist) to join a large-scale vulnerability remediation and enhancement project. Reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, you will play a key role in ensuring the protection of enterprise infrastructure by identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber security risks across a complex environment.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and optimise vulnerability detection tools to assess risk and guide remediation.
- Lead the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle – from identification through to remediation and reporting.
- Work closely with technical teams to coordinate the resolution and mitigation of vulnerabilities.
- Generate detailed vulnerability reports aligned with compliance requirements.
- Integrate the vulnerability management platform with ServiceNow and Microsoft Defender.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance vulnerability management practices and workflows.
This role requires extensive experience managing vulnerabilities across diverse platforms. Your strong technical background, combined with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, will ensure success.
Key experience includes:
- Minimum 3 years experience managing vulnerabilities in large corporate or enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Rapid7 vulnerability management platform (highly regarded).
- Experience integrating Rapid7 with ServiceNow.
- Proven success in coordinating vulnerability remediation across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
