About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer (Vulnerability Specialist) to join a large-scale vulnerability remediation and enhancement project. Reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, you will play a key role in ensuring the protection of enterprise infrastructure by identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber security risks across a complex environment.

Key duties and responsibilities: 
  • Configure, manage, and optimise vulnerability detection tools to assess risk and guide remediation.
  • Lead the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle – from identification through to remediation and reporting.
  • Work closely with technical teams to coordinate the resolution and mitigation of vulnerabilities.
  • Generate detailed vulnerability reports aligned with compliance requirements.
  • Integrate the vulnerability management platform with ServiceNow and Microsoft Defender.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance vulnerability management practices and workflows.

Key experience includes:
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing vulnerabilities in large corporate or enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Rapid7 vulnerability management platform (highly regarded).
  • Experience integrating Rapid7 with ServiceNow.
  • Proven success in coordinating vulnerability remediation across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
