Role description:
 
As the Data Analyst in this organisation you’ll be responsible for driving forward our client's data analytics initiatives. This role is critical in their efforts to modernise infrastructure and capitalise on cutting-edge technologies. Reporting directly to the National IT Manager, the chosen candidate will be pivotal in collaborating with both on-site and offshore teams to achieve strategic goals and help redefine who data is used and seen in this business.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with on-site and offshore teams, including data engineers and developers, to drive data analytics projects forward.
  • Take ownership of migrating internal reports from Access to PowerBI and other modern platforms.
  • Utilise expertise in SQL, PowerBI, and the Azure stack to analyse data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data warehousing solutions to support our evolving needs.
  • Work independently to put together comprehensive reports and presentations, demonstrating a solid understanding of analytical concepts.
  • Proactively engage stakeholder, providing actionable insights, and maintaining transparency in data analysis.
 
Essential skills:
 
  • Extensive experience with SQL, PowerBI, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in migrating internal reports and working with the Azure stack.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English being essential.
  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred, demonstrating technical expertise.
  • Proven ability to take on a leadership role and drive departmental initiatives forward.
