Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop Data Models: Create optimized data models in SingleStore DB to support complex queries and analytics for Sisense BI dashboards and reports.
2. Build Scalable Data Pipelines: Construct and maintain scalable data pipelines in Python/MySQL to ensure efficient data flow for real-time and batch processing.
3. Collaborate with BI Analysts: Work closely with BI analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs.
4. Integrate SingleStore DB with Sisense BI: Implement and manage seamless integration between SingleStore DB and Sisense BI for optimal performance of BI applications.
5. Monitor and Optimize Performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of data models and pipelines to meet analytical and operational needs.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain documentation related to data architecture, pipeline design, and data models to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
7. Data Quality Assurance: Conduct data quality checks and implement measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in BI reporting and analytics.
8. Stay Updated with Latest Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in BI and data engineering to enhance our implementation roadmap.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in database design and data pipeline development for embedded BI tools.
• Proven proficiency in SingleStore DB or similar analytical database technology, Python, MySQL, SQL, and ETL tools/processes.
• Experience integrating BI tools with various data sources and databases, along with solid understanding of data warehousing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and knowledge of additional BI tools and data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with data governance, security practices, and compliance requirements relevant to data management and BI.
