Reports to: BI & Applications Manager
Purpose of the role:
The Data & Reporting lead is responsible for managing the data architecture, datasets maintenance, establishing and managing data reporting processes and ensuring the delivery of accurate data for decision making.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting the BI & Applications Manager to embed and complete the Data warehouse Champions best practices in data management ensuring data accuracy processes are followed and data is audited
- Managing data integrity issues that arise between original data sources and data tables within the data warehouse
- Design and develop customised reports and dashboards based on business requirements
- Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in developing data queries, extracts, analysis and data visualization
- Work with business stakeholders to leverage data sets to gain deeper insights
- Support business users with the data and reporting tools in place
- Provide advice on how new data sources will flow into established data warehouse (software led)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data analyst or related field
- 5+ years experience with BI development and administration
- Proven experience in data analytics and visualization
- Proficient SQL skills
- Proven experience in data preparation, data gateway and warehousing
- Familiarity with Azure data platform and Apps is desirable
