- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics networks, optimizing processes to achieve high delivery standards (DIFOT - Delivery In Full, On Time).
- Coordinate inventory management to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement and sales to align operations with business objectives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage in the FMCG market.
To be successful
- Proven experience in end-to-end large scale DC management, including safety management, inventory & high reach racking
- Strong background in inventory management and safety practises
- Expertise in inventory optimization and control, with a track record of maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a team towards achieving operational goals.
- Possess exceptional organizational abilities to manage complex logistics and multiple site operations effectively.
- Exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
