About the role:
  • Take charge of overseeing and directing the supply and demand planning procedures for the designated portfolio.
  • Work together with sales, marketing, regions, and departments to achieve commercial goals and inventory targets.
  • Focus on enhancing forecast accuracy and addressing discrepancies by analyzing significant deviations.
  • Handle all forecasting and forecast-related tasks for assigned clients.
  • Actively participate in the introduction of new products, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Formulate and assess strategies to enhance stock availability, service levels, and overall operational efficiencies.
  • Proactively tackle operational challenges and limitations, implementing necessary corrective measures.
  • Utilize data and systems to improve the effectiveness of the S&OP Planning function.
  • Conduct analytical modeling, such as product line consolidations and scenario planning, to address various market conditions affecting supply, demand, or inventory.
  • Evaluate inventory levels and procurement requirements aligned with the demand and supply plan.
  • Deliver monthly reports and analysis on related supply chain activities.
About you:
  • Possess a highly analytical mindset, adept at managing extensive datasets.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Excel in meeting deadlines with excellent coordination skills.
  • Skilled in building rapport across diverse regions and cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in supply chain and/or finance, preferred.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply/demand planning or inventory management within FMCG, hardware, or retail sectors.
  • Experience in operational and/or financial modeling is highly valued.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management.
  • Possess strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools, with experience in Power BI considered advantageous.
  • Have experience working in a global organization with exposure to diverse regions and cultures.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably 365 Dynamics or Microsoft Dynamics AX12.
