About the Role:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts that align with the business cycle, particularly for peak sales periods. Maximise forecast accuracy while minimising forecast bias
- Ensure demand plans are strategically timed to meet business phasing needs, new product launches, and promotional activities.
- Apply a commercial perspective to demand planning that result in replenishment orders reflect market trends and business requirements.
- Optimize stock turns within our distribution centers (DC) while maintaining a balanced and risk-tolerant approach to stock coverage.
- Consolidate demand forecasts across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels, while mapping the unique dynamics and demand patterns of each channel.
- Provide clear visibility on demand drivers across these channels, ensuring synchronized inventory management and seamless replenishment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience balancing demand plans with inventory needs, stock turns, and risk tolerance.
- Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or wholesale environments.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and IT systems (e.g., demand planning software, ERP systems, and Excel).
- Ability to consolidate demand views across multi-channel platforms and work with the nuances of each channel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a dynamic and evolving business environment, with a strong track record of supporting growth and change.
