About the Role
Reporting to a highly regarded National Planning Manager, as Demand Planner, you will be tasked with driving S&OP success through accurate planning of a diverse SKU portfolio.  Importantly, ELT and cross functional support will be provided to help you drive positive change, as will ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enable your success in the role.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting: Analyze historical data to predict demand for various SKUs, adjusting for seasonality and market trends.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory to meet demand while avoiding overstocking.
  • Collaboration: Work with sales, procurement, and production teams to align on demand planning and ensure timely product availability.
  • Order Management: Create and manage orders with suppliers to maintain stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure smooth flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses and distribution centers.
  • Data Analysis: Use data analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in inventory turnover.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor and adjust plans for new product introductions, discontinuations, or promotions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on demand trends, inventory performance, and forecast accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact supply, including disruptions or changes in consumer behavior.
  
What You’ll Bring
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong Demand Planning and technical proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Background in FMCG, preferably food manufacturing, with an ability to influence through the use of data.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expertise in managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • A solutions-driven approach to challenges, with a focus on delivering high levels of service.
  
  
Experience & Expertise
  • Significant experience in FMCG, ideally in food manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to manage and organise multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
  • Extensive experience in managing stakeholders with competing priorities, and an ability to infleunce behaviours
  • A solutions-oriented mindset, delivering exceptional service to stakeholders and resolving challenges effectively.
