This stream you will be owning two key pillars planning to continue growing; innovating to build the next generation software and disrupting the product by leveraging emerging technologies to drive great outcomes for clients.
Outcomes & Responsibilities
Lean product development- Co-create the streams roadmap aligned to the product strategy and architecture vision ensuring a balanced mix of short term (product innovation) and long term (platform) outcomes.
Delivery- Coach and facilitate squads to provide accurate investment size and indicative timelines for outcomes assist squads in planning work effectively in order to deliver predictably.
People leading & coaching- Build a high performing software development team by providing coaching, mentoring, and training of team members. Create a safe and enjoyable team environment that promotes our courageous culture through open feedback.
Capability custodians- Maintain and support the operational health of you and your team’s capabilities.
Platform architecture Facilitate design, architecture, and delivery of new healthy platform capabilities in alignment with the architecture vision.
Cost management- Ensure our IaC processes, capabilities and product outcomes delivered are cost optimised and linearly scale by usage in AWS.
Security- Operate and create highly secure systems by ensuring quality security practices and reviews are embedded within the team culture and processes.
Reduced cost of change - Reduce cost of change by improving the health, quality and reuse of code, and following sensible defaults.
