Sharp & Carter is proud to partner with Sunwater to recruit a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the Executive General Manager – Corporate Affairs. This is a key role within the organisation, suited to a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment.
Working closely with the EGM, you will play an important role in enabling effective leadership by providing high-level executive and operational support. From managing complex schedules to coordinating governance activities and preparing executive documentation, you will ensure the Corporate Affairs function runs efficiently and seamlessly.
This position sits at the centre of a fast-paced and high-profile team, requiring strong judgement, discretion and the ability to anticipate priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare briefing materials for Executive Leadership Team, Board and Committee meetings, ensuring actions and outcomes are accurately tracked and delivered within required timeframes.
- Assist with government engagement activities including coordinating meetings, managing correspondence processes and maintaining stakeholder records.
- Prepare and distribute key reports and briefing documentation, including weekly and quarterly updates, ministerial briefings and presentations.
- Provide support across the Executive and Government Relations functions through stakeholder liaison, managing approvals and assisting with key projects and initiatives.
- Organise functions and events, including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, logistics management and attendee communications.
- Deliver broader administrative support to the Corporate Affairs business unit, including travel coordination, procurement processes and financial administration in line with organisational policies.
About You
You are a polished and self-motivated Executive Assistant with experience supporting senior leaders in complex organisations. Highly organised and adaptable, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in a corporate environment
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- The ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and corporate systems

This full-time role offers an attractive starting salary of $107K plus super alongside a range of benefits including:
