About the Position
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Manager – Residential Aged Care will oversee the successful operation of Carinity’s 11 aged care facilities across Queensland. Inheriting a portfolio with a strong foundation that has an excellent compliance record and a reputation for delivering a high-care service to clients, the focus of this role will be to continue to evolve and optimise services across the sites. This is a solution orientated and outcome focused role ensuring person orientated care is at the forefront of the services provided, underpinned by quality systems-based management. It will include leadership of clinical and holistic care programs and service improvement to maximise resident satisfaction, improve clinical/ care operational effectiveness and manage services that achieve business outcomes through effective governance strategies. About the Person
Carinity is seeking an accomplished senior leader who brings extensive experience in Residential Aged Care. Exceptional leadership and people management skills are essential, including demonstrated capability in managing multiple teams across geographically dispersed sites, inspiring them towards excellence. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the wide range of issues related to aged care, including government legislation and policy, industrial relations, current business practices, and service delivery methods. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder skills are required, along with the ability to represent Carinity at senior levels and actively contribute as a member of the Senior Management Team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work within the Christian ethos and framework of Carinity and possess relevant clinical tertiary qualifications or experience in health management, ideally with post graduate qualifications in a relevant field. The preferred candidate will be required to undertake a fiduciary check and have the ability to pass an NDIS clearance.
