This is a fantastic opportunity for strong management accountant looking to move into a Finance Analyst role. You will become part the team at NSW Ports - a privately owned business that manages the economically significant assets of Port Botany, Port Kembla, Cooks River Intermodal Terminal and the Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre. You will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner and be responsible for end-to-end management accounting function including reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
The responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annual financial reports.
- Providing detailed analysis explaining monthly financial performance
- Assist with the preparation of group consolidation reports
- Maintain and create financial models and spreadsheets as required for efficient reporting and analysis.
- Maintain the accuracy of Finance Power BI reports and documentation of report rules.
- Support in preparing Budget and forecasts
- Provide support to the wider finance team and other teams across the business
- Assist with process improvements and efficiencies
- Adhoc requests
- Proven experience in end-to-end financial modelling and Excel modelling.
- CA/CPA qualified (or progressing through)
- PowerBi experience (ideal)
- Sound accounting, problem solving and analytical skills
