Our client, a leading retail business, is seeking an analytical and commercially minded Finance Analyst to join their Retail team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role reports to the Retail Director and provides critical support across store performance, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis.

What you’ll do:
- Analyse store sales, wages, productivity, product data, and KPIs to support commercial decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and store incentive calculations
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and insights for the Retail leadership team
- Provide actionable recommendations to support retail operations and strategy
- Collaborate with wider finance and retail teams on broader commercial initiatives
- Previous experience in retail finance or commercial analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
- Experience with retail analytics platforms
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate reporting under deadlines
