The Role
As Finance Analyst, you’ll support both the monthly reporting cycle and commercial decision-making processes across the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management reports and variance analysis
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles
- Partnering with key operational teams to analyse business drivers
- Delivering financial models and what-if scenario analysis
- Presenting insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders
- Ensuring accurate financial controls, accruals, and reconciliations are maintained
- Identifying opportunities for reporting and process improvements
You’re a motivated finance professional with a strong mix of analytical ability and commercial curiosity. You enjoy digging into the numbers, but also thrive in stakeholder conversations where you can translate data into impact.
Ideal profile:
- 3–5 years’ experience in chartered (Big 4 or mid-tier) or a similar analytical finance role
- CA qualified or near-completion
- Ready to make your first move into industry
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; ERP system experience (e.g. SAP) an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability
- Comfortable managing deadlines, juggling competing priorities, and operating with agility
- Excellent first industry move for chartered accountants
- Exposure to both technical finance and commercial partnering
- Pathway to more senior roles within a large and growing organisation
- Hybrid working model with structured training and support
- Inclusive and performance-focused team culture
