Due to recent growth and expansion, this exciting e-commerce baby goods retail organization have created a highly attractive finance and administration officer role to join their evolving team. This is a varied role allowing the successful candidate to continue to develop their accounting and administrative skills. This position could be either part time (4 days a week) or full time. Excellent for parents or junior accounting/admin candidates that want to join the e-commerce industry!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supplier invoice processing
- Payroll / Superannuation processing
- Reconciliations
- BAS statements
- Month-end procedures
- Onboarding and ongoing HR administrative tasks
- Co-ordination of the company's ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Program
- Adhoc CEO and executive team support
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a finance/bookkeeping role
- Working knowledge of Xero or other similar accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication
- A natural problem solver with forward thinking skills
- Retail / E-commerce environment experience an advantage but not essential
