The Role | Reporting to the FP&A Manager
Responsibilities will include:
- Drive the development of the annual organisational budget
- Support operational divisions through the periodic financial evaluation of programs and projects, including validation of assumptions, drivers, costs and benefits
- Provide proactive and substantial support to business units in the structuring of business cases for programs and projects
- Undertake regular and ongoing analysis of performance against budget, including developing financial forecasts, variance and trend analysis
- Provide value-adding analytical support through identification of emerging issues and recommendation of approaches to rectify
- Proactively manage the relationships with, and expectations of, key stakeholders across operational divisions in relation to forecasting, budgeting and variance and trend analysis.
- Participate in the development of quality business modelling, tools and systems to improve management decision making
- Adhoc duties as requested
The Candidate
You are high energy and commercially focused individual who is committed to making a difference and driving improved outcomes for the organisation you work for. Ideally applicants will have a proven background in Finance within Commercial Analyst or Management Accounting roles which had a strong business partnering requirement. With intermediate to advanced excel skills, your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of and develop strong professional relationships with those both above and below you in the organisational structure.
