The Role
Based in their corporate head office on the Parramatta outskirts, you will act as a finance support to various stakeholders. Your other responsibilities will include:
- Monthly management reporting including balance sheet reconciliations and commentary;
- Performance and variance analysis;
- Annual budgeting and monthly and ad hoc forecasting process;
- Talking to the business to ensure financial information is clear to support business decisions;
- Build stakeholder relationships, true business partnering;
- Participate in business improvement and process improvement projects;
- Commercial interpretation of financial data to stakeholders;
- Ownership and management of the CAPEX process; and
- Project accounting.
You will have the following:
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Recent experience in a management accounting role and the ability to step up as a senior in this role.
- Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong business partnering skills.
- Dynamic and energetic in nature with strong negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving skills with a strong track record of critical and analytical thinking.
- Process improvement mindset with a desire to develop processes and systems to improve efficiency.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is highly regarded.
