The Position
In this hands-on role, you will partner with corporate teams to provide expert financial support, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and analysis. You'll play a key part in delivering insightful management reporting, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive robust financial management.
- Provide expert advice using your knowledge of financial processes and business areas.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support financial modeling and ERP systems for effective cost management.
- Contribute to change management, project variation processes, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures in finance and procurement.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in management accounting, preferably within capital projects. They will possess strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and a CPA or CA qualification. Experience with ERP software is required, with TechOne proficiency seen as an advantage but not essential. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive financial improvement within the organisation.
