The Role
Reporting to the Director, the Finance Business Partner will manage all finance matters for the business, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, treasury operations, project costing, and general accounting activities such as AP, AR, and payroll oversight. You will act as a key partner to senior leaders, providing insights and guidance to drive business performance and streamline processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and quarterly rolling forecasts.
- Conducting general ledger reconciliations and maintaining fixed asset registers.
- Preparing tax and FBT returns, and liaising with external accountants.
- Providing financial analysis and reporting to operational stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Managing cashflow forecasting and project costing.
- Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Driving process improvements, automation, and compliance initiatives.
- Supervising clerical staff and supporting wider finance team activities.
The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified with at least 6 years’ accounting experience, ideally with managerial exposure. You will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial acumen and the ability to partner with leadership across the business.
