Sydney based NFP | Hybrid Working | $125k + Super + Salary Packaging
A well-regarded Sydney-based not-for-profit organisation is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team. Operating in a purpose-driven and research-led environment, the organisation plays a significant role in supporting nationally recognised programs and initiatives.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role will partner closely with operational leaders across the organisation to provide financial insight, support strategic decision-making and contribute to the continued development of reporting, planning and analytics capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational leaders and cost centre managers to provide financial insight and decision support
- Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business case support
- Analyse cost centre performance and provide commentary on risks, opportunities and operational performance
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of management reporting, dashboards and financial systems
- Support the preparation of financial submissions and reporting for government and funding bodies
- Assist with internal and external audit processes
- Contribute to the development and improvement of finance policies, planning frameworks and processes
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) with relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
- Strong financial modelling, analysis and budgeting capability
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to operate autonomously while building strong internal relationships
- Salary up to $125,000 + 12% super
