Sharp & Carter Perth have been engaged exclusively on this genuine Finance business partnering role embedded within a high-performing division of a growing national organisation. Reporting to the Executive General Manager for WA, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders - driving performance, providing insight and influencing key commercial decisions.
This role suits a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being close to the business, challenging thinking and translating data into action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with divisional leadership to drive performance and profitability.
- Deliver meaningful analysis, insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue improvement.
- Support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with FP&A and group finance to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Improve reporting, processes, and systems to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in operational, construction, manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or similar environments.
- Multiple Systems exposure (Power BI or similar).
- True business partnering role with influence and visibility.
- Exposure to senior leadership and key commercial decisions.
- Collaborative, high-performing finance team.
- South of the River location with parking and onsite presence required.
