The Role
The Finance Business Partner will act as a key commercial partner across designated business units.
This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, analysis, and strategic support - providing insights that directly influence operational and financial outcomes.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, translating financial data into clear, actionable recommendations, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
This position is well-suited to a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys stakeholder engagement and driving performance through insight.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across assigned business units
- Deliver detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and performance reporting
- Develop financial models to support business cases, scenario planning, and investment decisions
- Partner with operational leaders to provide insight into financial performance and key drivers
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders
- Support development and evaluation of efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
- Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting
- Contribute to strategic planning and broader finance projects
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering or management accounting role
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
- Confident communicator with experience working with non-finance leaders
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a complex environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- CA / CPA qualified or working towards completion
- 4–8 years’ experience within a large or complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
