About the role & client
Great opportunity to join a well known manufacturing organisation in Western Sydney to be part of a high performing team and growing business in a position to shape and make your own on a 3 month FTC. 

As a commercially savvy Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role by collaborating with various teams, including Sales and Operations. 

Initially this will be a contractual assignment, however there is the opportunity for extension and/or permanency.

The responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO, your primary focus is to provide support to the management team in understanding the profitability of the division. The duties of your role will be included but not limited to the following:

• Provide commercial insights and analysis
• Own the divisional P&L to drive insight and analysis on the profitability
• Develop and drive to improve modelling and reporting to meet business need
• Partner with operations to track margin and benchmarks to report against
• Prepare management reports along with commentary that are insightful and actionable

The Candidate
CA/CPA and Degree qualified, you will be a commercially strong senior finance professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proven track record as a finance business partner. You will have advanced Excel skills, including scenario and forecast modelling experience. This couple with your self-starter/ proactive, problem-solving approach to challenges, will see you succeed in this role.
