About the role
An exciting, business-critical role with a global, industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their Finance team. This Finance Business Partner position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially, this will be a contractual assignment (6 months), however there is the genuine view for permanency following this period. This role is also suitable for candidates on a working-holiday VISA.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Business partner with divisions and build strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders, in particular, the Sales function.
- Assist with the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process across your specific business unit.
- Apply your analytical mindset, financial expertise and leverage business understanding to enhance business performance, provide actionable insights, and provide a fresh perspective.
- Assist with the full P&L and all key performance management processes, KPIs, performance reporting and financial presentations for your business unit.
- Analysis of monthly Sales and P&L; influencing key stakeholders to achieve both financial and non-financial metrics.
- Assist in leading business unit-specific projects and initiatives.
- Support decision making through financial modelling, insights and analysis of key performance drivers.
- Drive continuous process improvement, automation and implement bestpractices.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy collaboration and have had extensive experience within a large & complex working environment. Furthermore, you will have extensive and proven experience in successfully partnering with the Sales function in your prior roles.
