The Company and the Role
We are proud to be partnering with a nationally recognized listed leader in the food manufacturing sector on a 6-month D365 Finance Consultant role. Since its conception, the company has gained a strong domestic and international customer base and have performed at the top of its category. Due to a recent implementation of D365, a need has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to work alongside operations and supply chain to drive continuous improvement on the platform. You will bring with you an expertise in inventory management and production control gained from a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
   
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations teams across warehousing and manufacturing floors to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in the day-to-day system usage.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to assess the change from current to target state business processes and roles, with a core focus on inventory management processes across the site, influencing behavioural change and system adoption across all levels of operations.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to understand system capabilities and ensure process design is optimized for efficiency.
  • Develop detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and related documentation for future-state processes.
  • Develop and implement Change Management strategies for transitioning from current to future processes.
  • Identify workforce capability gaps relative to processes and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to build capability and implement future state ways of working.
  • Build out a project delivery proposal and report / benchmark against plan, communicating to the business.
  • Assist in establishing documentation standards for process mapping and ensure consistency in format and terminology.
  • Create and maintain a centralized repository for all process-related documentation.
  • Proficient in delivering SLT, ELT and Board presentations where needed.
  
   
Your Profile
  • Ideally 7-9 years' experience working with inventory management within Microsoft Dynamics365 in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong accounting principles knowledge.
  • Strong commercial experience in business process design, analysis, or improvement.
  • Proficiency in business process modelling techniques and tools, and strong skills in data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in business process management (BPM) software, PowerBI, and QAD.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build relationships and business knowledge quickly and confidently.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization techniques is ideal.
  • Commitment to traveling to manufacturing sites in Victoria.
