About the role: Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for process improvement and systems integration? Our client, a leading organisation within property and construction are seeking a Finance Process & Systems Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in transforming finance operations and driving efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities: 
      
  • Evaluate and enhance existing finance processes, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Review financial system entries and processes to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with internal policies and reporting standards.
  • Support the design, implementation, and optimisation of finance systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing user support.
  • Develop user-friendly training materials, deliver training sessions, and manage communications to support successful system rollouts.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to address financial and operational matters and ensure alignment on key transformation goals.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial and operational data to identify risks and areas for improvement, implementing effective controls where needed.
  • Reconcile financial records related to logistics and inventory, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Contribute to project-based finance activities, including reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ensure finance infrastructure supports the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful reporting across the business.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
Requirements:     
  • 3+ years’ experience in audit or financial accounting
  •  Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in managing varied stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in preparing monthly financial results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with finance, operations, and logistics teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
