We are looking for a Finance Director to support the CEO with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. This role will also develop pricing and commercial strategies, collaborate with the CFO of a related entity on financial objectives, and assist with executive and board reporting. Leading a large high-performing team, the Finance Director will ensure financial best practices and alignment with organisational strategy in a regulated environment.
Duties
- Report to the Group CFO with a dotted line to the divisional CEO
- Manage, mentor and lead a large high-performing global team
- Own the month end, forecasting and budgeting process including variance analysis
- Drive pricing strategies to increase product profitability
- Lead the cost business transformation project
- Assist with M&A activities for capital investment to drive business growth
- Analyse and understand the value chain of financials and what drives the numbers
- Own the five-year strategic planning process
- Deliver data driven insights and analysis to create performance visibility for the SLT
- Analyse pricing & profitability by product for portfolio management
- Collaborate with senior leaders to set and assess financial goals
- Maintain a vibrant fun team culture with continued team success
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- 10+ years commercial experience
- Effective leader who inspires and motivates others
- Strategic mindset who can think beyond the numbers
- Proven M&A experience
- Salesforce experience advantageous
- Ability to adapt global practices to drive change in a global environment
- Deep understanding of financial and strategic planning
- Background in product, SaaS, B2B, FMCG environments ideal
- Strong analytical skills for resolving complex issues
