Our client is a global manufacturing leader whose products are found in markets all around world. They are a diversified group who continue to grow through strategic acquisition as well as through their existing channels.

In this key business facing role for their manufacturing unit you will be a strategic and commercial leader responsible for delivering commercial insights and opportunities to support GMs across the business and their decision-making. You will question and challenge your key business partners in order to drive operational and financial performance. 
  
In addition, you and your team will be responsible for:
  

• Support major capital projects by way of financial justification calculations and documentation
• Provide financial governance and leadership on the CAPEX and process improvement program for multiple sites – consolidation and financial management
• Liaise with site finance and operational heads delivering cost saving initiatives and results optimisation
• Business Case preparation / financial modelling to deliver and support initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Strong operations/ manufacturing industry experience essential
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
• Previous leadership and delivery of CAPEX, Cost Saving Initiatives
• Business partnering and strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working across multiple site locations desirable
• “Lean” experience highly desirable
