The Company and the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of financial management and reporting, ensuring strong financial oversight across all areas of the organization. The role requires a hands-on finance professional who can operate both strategically and operationally within a NFP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 accountants
- Review and manage accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Manage compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage monthly indirect tax compliance and annual FBT process.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support financial planning and decision-making
- Liaise with auditors and oversee year-end audit preparation
About You
- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent)
- At least 4-5 years' experience in a similar role in a Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Manager capacity, preferably within the NFP / NDIS sector
- Strong working knowledge of financial management principles and relevant compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change
