Reporting to the Head of Finance, the main responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end processes
- Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and aligned with organisational priorities
- Maintain effective cash flow management to support operational stability and strategic investments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements, including statutory and tax obligations
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and compliance documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive leadership and inform key business decisions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work culture
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other key external stakeholders
- Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risk
- Support long-term financial planning and ensure financial practices are aligned with the organisation’s mission and strategic objectives
