The Role
This is a pivotal finance leadership role responsible for overseeing management reporting, financial operations, and compliance for the Financial Advisory division across multiple entities. Reporting to a Financial Controller, you will manage a finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through accurate, timely financial insights and operational oversight.
  
Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting in line with global deadlines
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable functions, overseeing debtor management and intercompany reconciliations
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, cash flows, and quarterly VAT returns
  • Maintain accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
  • Support audit processes and ensure local regulatory compliance
  • Develop, mentor, and manage a small finance team, driving continuous improvement and best practice
  • Act as the primary interface with external banks and internal finance counterparts globally
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a finance leadership or management accounting role within the professional services industry (essential)
  • A relevant professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with a sharp attention to detail
  • Proven experience managing a small finance team
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite is advantageous but not essential
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
