An established and highly regarded professional services firm with a strong global presence is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Financial Advisory division. The Role
This is a pivotal finance leadership role responsible for overseeing management reporting, financial operations, and compliance for the Financial Advisory division across multiple entities. Reporting to a Financial Controller, you will manage a finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through accurate, timely financial insights and operational oversight.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting in line with global deadlines
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable functions, overseeing debtor management and intercompany reconciliations
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, cash flows, and quarterly VAT returns
- Maintain accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Support audit processes and ensure local regulatory compliance
- Develop, mentor, and manage a small finance team, driving continuous improvement and best practice
- Act as the primary interface with external banks and internal finance counterparts globally
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a finance leadership or management accounting role within the professional services industry (essential)
- A relevant professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience
- Excellent analytical skills with a sharp attention to detail
- Proven experience managing a small finance team
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive, resilient mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
