Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to step into a senior Finance Manager role within a growing, project-driven organisation where finance plays a central role in performance, delivery, and decision-making.

Reporting into senior leadership and leading a capable finance team, the Finance Manager will own the integrity of financial reporting while acting as a trusted commercial partner across the business. The role combines strong financial control with hands-on leadership and forward-looking insight, supporting sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

Organisation:
The organisation operates in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment where financial visibility, cash flow discipline, and margin control are critical.
Finance is not a back-office function — it is embedded in day-to-day decision-making and works closely with operational leaders to support performance and growth.

Role:
The Finance Manager is accountable for the end-to-end finance function, spanning reporting, planning, compliance, systems, and team leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and supporting analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and internal policies
  • Owning budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control processes
  • Providing clear financial insight to senior leadership to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Partnering with business leaders and delivery teams to provide visibility across budgets, forecasts, and performance
  • Analysing financial and operational performance to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining robust internal controls and financial governance frameworks
  • Supporting system improvements, reporting automation, and process optimisation initiatives
This is a role with genuine scope: balancing governance, commercial insight, and execution.

Candidate:
You are likely to offer,
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role within a complex, operationally focused organisation
  • Strong capability across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Proven experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of tax, statutory, and compliance requirements
  • A hands-on approach combined with strong judgement and attention to detail
  • Experience improving systems, processes, and reporting effectiveness
  • The confidence to operate autonomously while influencing senior stakeholders
