About The Role

As Group Finance Manager, you will lead the group’s financial reporting and control function, overseeing month‑end close, consolidated reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance. You will also act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and advisors, ensuring the organisation remains audit‑ready at all times.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and lead the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the group
  • Maintain audit‑ready financial records, including robust documentation and reconciliations
  • Prepare annual consolidated financial statements in line with accounting standards
  • Lead the external audit process and manage all audit deliverables and queries
  • Manage group cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
  • Support group budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Deliver clear variance analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations
  • Oversee BAS and FBT returns and coordinate information for income tax reporting
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial and strategic financial advice
  • Drive optimisation of financial systems and processes
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled tools, to improve reporting, automation, and data quality

About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • 7+ years’ experience in senior finance roles, including financial reporting and business partnering
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial management, and governance
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Sound understanding of taxation and statutory compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated people leadership and team development capability
  • Strong analytical skills, including dashboarding and data‑driven insights
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in dynamic, multi‑business environments
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to balance BAU delivery with transformation initiatives
