Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the CFO, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
  • Preparing information for tax and other statutory returns, including FBT & BAS
  • Being the key contact point for external auditors
  • Month end accounting & reporting, including posting journals, balance sheets and P&L reconciliations
  • Driving the completion of month end management reporting, and preparation of the board pack by taking ownership of the financial reporting framework
  • Business Partnering with senior stakeholders & providing analysis from enquiries within the business
  • Monthly variance analysis and producing commentary for management
  • Financial analysis in examining revenue, costs and wider financial issues
  • Management of AR and AP functions and international payments
  • Cashflow forecasting and management
  • Managing the company employee record and processing payroll
  • Systems & Processes: Systems Compliance (Accuracy & Integrity), Finance and Admin Process Improvement
  • Championing and training the use of systems and processes to improve outcomes across the business
Ideal Education/Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Degree qualified in an Accounting discipline CPA / CA
  • Minimum 3 Years Reconciliation experience
  • Strong Excel User skills
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a greater team, with the flexibility to work extended hours where necessary
  • Exposure to retail / FMCG environments
  • Open to Big 4 first movers
