The business sells through wholesale, retail and eCommerce channels and are supported by a growing network of third party logistics providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the CFO, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Preparing information for tax and other statutory returns, including FBT & BAS
- Being the key contact point for external auditors
- Month end accounting & reporting, including posting journals, balance sheets and P&L reconciliations
- Driving the completion of month end management reporting, and preparation of the board pack by taking ownership of the financial reporting framework
- Business Partnering with senior stakeholders & providing analysis from enquiries within the business
- Monthly variance analysis and producing commentary for management
- Financial analysis in examining revenue, costs and wider financial issues
- Management of AR and AP functions and international payments
- Cashflow forecasting and management
- Managing the company employee record and processing payroll
- Systems & Processes: Systems Compliance (Accuracy & Integrity), Finance and Admin Process Improvement
- Championing and training the use of systems and processes to improve outcomes across the business
- Degree qualified in an Accounting discipline CPA / CA
- Minimum 3 Years Reconciliation experience
- Strong Excel User skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a greater team, with the flexibility to work extended hours where necessary
- Exposure to retail / FMCG environments
- Open to Big 4 first movers
