With their headquarters based in Geelong, an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior FA / Finance Manager/Financial Controller has arisen to help deliver the organisations strategic goals.
About the role
Working within a large finance team, you will be responsible for delivering year end and be a key driver driving process improvement projects across the organisation.
Duties
- Deliver month end and year end process
- Managing, developing and leading the finance operations function including setting budgets, forecasts and monitoring performance
- Ensuring a client focused business partnership approach is maintained by the finance operations function in the delivery of services and interactions with all stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and tax obligations
- Overseeing monthly reporting and providing commentary on financial results and performance
- Ongoing oversight and improvement of financial controls, systems and processes
- Cash flow and working capital management
Skills and Experience
You are CA/CPA qualified, and have ideally compiled an impressive track record and reputation as a high achiever within large and complex organisations. You have highly developed technical accounting skills and commercial acumen, along with proven experience managing complex and high level stakeholder relationships.
Please note: This role is initially starting as a 6 month contract, and succesful candidate will ideally be able to start in the next two weeks.
