The role
The Finance Manager is responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial position of the group, together with oversight of transactional requirements including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, weekly and monthly reporting and consolidation. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

• Business partner with a range of stakeholders, providing financial insights and commercial advice
• Weekly investment reconciliations (distribution, capital call, interest postings)
• Preparation of Month end reporting
• Responsible for preparation and reconciliation of Investment accounting across the group
• Review of Quarterly BAS submissions prepared by outsourced provider
• Review of month end balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Assisting with tax compliance across the group
• Assisting where required to complete financial audits, tax returns and any other audit in a timely manner 
• Oversight of outsourced accounting provider including but not limited to general ledger posting review, supplier review, balance sheet and bank reconciliation review
• Responsible for all supplier credit applications and maintenance of supplier terms/ supplier bank account details

The Ideal Candidate 

• CPA or CA qualified
• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general commercial finance and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, ability and initiative to work within a continuous improvement environment
