This FMCG organisation has seen significant growth since its inception in 2014 and the business has quickly become a leader for a solution-based product in its segment. The team and founders are passionate about creating products that offer quality and consistency, they operate at a Manufacturing plant in the West of Melbourne to deliver product to their retail partners. Recently the entity had been supported by private equity and appointed new senior leadership to drive growth and expansion. The Role
Specific duties will include, but not limited to:
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month end process.
- Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly accounts to budget.
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with production of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Assist with the preparation and management of annual budgets and re-forecasting.
- Maintain the fixed asset registers.
- Service contract maintenance.
- Assist with preparation of outgoings recoveries budgets and annual reconciliation.
- Liaison with external auditors (outgoings and financial audit).
- Establish and manage ongoing stakeholder relations (both internal and external).
Tertiary qualification with a background in FMCG, Manufacturing or similar product-based organisations. You have a minimum of 2 years in a Financial Accounting role with demonstrated experience in Management reporting and commercial analysis. You have strong communication and rapport building skills to partner with the wider business and senior management. It will be beneficial to have exposure to data manipulation and dashboards, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Other requirements include:
- CA/CPA qualified
- An in-depth technical understanding combined with demonstrated strategic and commercial awareness
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation
- Most importantly, you are a collaborative finance professional that thrives working in a close knit team
