The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and stakeholder engagement across the business.
Responsibilities
- Support financial accounting processes, including month-end reporting
- Complete statutory reporting obligations such as BAS, FBT, and indirect tax
- Develop and produce weekly/monthly KPI budgets and reports for stakeholders
- Monitor debtor compliance and prepare debtor day reporting
- Serve as a key contact for compliance and performance reporting queries
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
- Analyse company performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the annual budgeting process with in-depth analysis
- Prepare company-specific and quarterly billing reports
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, Marketing) to deliver tailored insights
- Degree qualified, ideally with CPA/CA completed or in progress
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisation
- Confident working across various internal stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proactive, analytical thinker with a collaborative mindset
