An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established organisation with a strong reputation for culture, stability, and internal development.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the month-end close and financial reporting process while partnering closely with operational teams across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month-end close, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- P&L reviews, variance analysis and cost centre reporting
- Ensuring accuracy of financial data across multiple business units
- BAS reporting and supporting working papers
- Partnering with AP, purchasing and operations to understand cost drivers
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting practices
This role will suit an ambitious, commercially minded accountant who enjoys being involved in the business beyond the numbers.
You will ideally have:
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
- Background in manufacturing, product-based, warehousing or inventory-driven environments
- Strong month-end and financial accounting experience
- Exposure to AP, purchasing, prepayments or inventory accounting
- CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to engage stakeholders across the business
