The Role | Reporting to the Group Finance Manager
The main duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Perform analysis of expenditure and be able to provide commentaries for variances between actual and budget, which includes addressing enquiries from both internal and external sources
- Perform analysis on brand P&L reporting
- End-of-month cycle, including posting journals, preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Be able to research, understand and interpret accounting standards and apply knowledge on day-to-day workings
- Assist with half-year and year-end audit
- Support the Group Finance Manager and assist other team members with the achievement of finance team objectives and projects
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and reporting

- CA/CPA Qualified
- Prior experience in a chartered accounting firm (Big4 or mid-tier) or a similar fast-paced, medium-large commercial organisation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Exceptional priority-setting and communication skills
